On the road in Istanbul: DB Schenker has been represented in Turkey for more than 20 years within the framework of a joint venture with the Arkas Group.
DB Schenker’s network in the important market of Turkey is expanding. Just recently, a new logistics center went into operation in Manisa near the metropolis of Izmir on the Aegean coast. Apart from offering the logistical basics, this 15,000 square meter facility also provides Value-Added Services from labeling up to light maintenance and repairs.
A second new location has also been opened in Bursa. The fourth most populous city in Turkey lies close to the Sea of Marmara and is closely linked to the conurbation of Istanbul. This region in the west of the country is home to many manufacturing plants in the automotive, textile and chemical industries. The logistics center in Bursa has an area of 11,000 square meters and includes a variety of Value-Added Services in its portfolio.
